In the months following the announcement of the 2026 Teacher of the Year, Dr. De La Cruz had the privilege to speak at multiple universities across Tennessee and Arkansas, the state where she started her teaching career. She has participated in forums, panels, and as a keynote speaker at multiple events, including University of Arkansas Little Rock, Arkansas State University, Lee University, and Austin Peay University.
